We spent the day with GOW Aggregates near Thurso, following the process from material being worked from the quarry face, through crushing and processing,
Before the Hitachi ZW250-6 takes over moving, stockpiling and loading the finished product ready for delivery.
The final leg sees the aggregate leave the quarry by tipper and head out to a local groundworks project, completing the journey from rock face to road.
